Are your services traditional or contemporary?
Most would call our services traditional. We sing traditional hymns as well as newer hymns and choruses that we believe honor our Savior Jesus Christ and promote corporate worship.
So where are you going as a church?
A lot has happened in the time since we first started in July of 2014. We have been growing and have recently purchased land for a church building in the near future. It is our desire to have a church that makes a difference here in the lives of the people of Williston. It's our hope that God would use this church to change lives and eventually establish other Bible believing churches in the surrounding region. By the way that's why our name is Bakken Baptist.
Can you help me?
We recognize that people come to church for different reasons and that everyone is looking for guidance, help, and encouragement. You may feel your situation is unique but God's Word is sufficient. We are a church that believes in building relationships and encouraging one another to grow in the Lord. While the starting place for everyone is personal salvation, we believe in investing in people so that they can better understand the Bible and know God.
