Hope
Maybe you are looking for hope. Life is often filled with hard times and disappointments. Our feelings often conflict with reality; sometimes we wonder why we exist. The day to day tasks may seem overwhelming, and we wonder to what end.
Friend, regardless of where you are in life, there is hope. |
There is Hope in Jesus.
You must realize that you need salvation. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 that "All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." We are all sinners, by nature and by choice. We are helplessly lost in our sin. You must also realize that there is a penalty for sin. Romans 6:23 tells us that "the wages of sin is death." This death is a separation from God forever in a place of torment. But there is good news. The second part of Romans 6:23 tells us, "But the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." Jesus, the sinless Son of God, took our punishment, dying on the cross in our place. Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love for us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Salvation is a free gift of God. Ephesians 2:8-9 also tells us that God's salvation is a free gift-- we can do nothing to earn our salvation. It is a gift of God's grace. "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." All you have to do is receive God's free gift of salvation. Romans 10:13 tells us that "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 4:5 says, "To him that. . .believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." Won't you call upon the Lord today, before it is too late? Hebrews 9:27, "And as it appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." We would love to help you find true hope in Jesus Christ.
